The method involves determining ranges of values for energy flows and range of values of characteristics from the ranges of values from evaluation of flow characteristics. A baric center of subset corresponding to studied characteristic is determined. A total baric center is determined from the baric center. The characteristic values are determined by projecting the total baric center to define a model of building. Modifiable and non-modifiable characteristics are determined by the characteristic values. A transformed building is defined to reduce energy consumption.
