<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element which can improve power generation characteristics while reducing manufacturing costs, and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element comprises: a first substrate; a first electrode disposed on the first substrate; a catalyst layer formed on the first electrode and exhibiting catalytic activity against an oxidation-reduction electrolyte; an electrolyte adjoining the catalyst layer and consisting of an oxidation-reduction electrolyte dissolved in a solvent; a porous semiconductor layer adjoining the electrolyte and including semiconductor particulates and dye molecules; a second electrode disposed on the porous semiconductor layer; and an encapsulating material disposed between the first and the second substrates and encapsulating the electrolyte. The catalyst layer is composed with a conductive thin film containing one of metal oxide particulates having corrosion resistance against active carbon and electrolytes and an organic compound having conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
