<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system and terminal device coping with the recently evolved technique of copying physical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: In an authenticity determining system of an ID card, the ID card has an authentification article having intrinsic physical characteristics, and the terminal device includes: an ID input part; a dark space blocking an outside light; a camera; and a plurality of luminescent patterns generating light by selecting a plurality of luminous sources which generate different wavelengths, respectively. The chip analysis data (image data) by the luminescent pattern is previously stored as a chip data, and the authenticity of the authentification article is determined by the chip data and a newly photographed chip analysis data. At that time, the above determination of authenticity is performed several times while changing the luminescent pattern, and the authentification article is verified when adapting to the original article even in any determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
