<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve carbonization yield in an inner heat type device for burning and carbonizing a portion of a palm kernel shell of a raw material. <P>SOLUTION: In an opening and closing type charcoal making furnace or a splitting type charcoal making furnace, a hole for ignition and air supply are provided in an upper part, and the charcoal making furnace is ignited from the upper part. After the ignition, dry distillation gas is sucked in the charcoal making furnace from a lower part to promote carbonization reaction, and an air supply valve of the upper part is controlled to suppress the combustion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
