PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil solution for a carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber, which effectively prevents fusion between monofilaments in a step of producing a carbon fiber bundle and also suppresses deterioration in operability, and can produce a carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle having excellent bundling properties and a carbon fiber bundle having superior mechanical physical properties with excellent productivity; an oil solution composition for the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber; and an oil treatment liquid for the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber.

SOLUTION: The oil solution for the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber is obtained by condensation reaction of a hydroxybenzoic acid and a 8-20C monovalent aliphatic alcohol. The oil solution composition for the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber containing the oil solution and the oil treatment liquid for the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber obtained by dispersing the oil solution compositions in water are also disclosed.
