<p>The present invention relates to a biodegradable water soluble rigid container made of a polymeric material comprising 60-90% by weight of poly(vinyl-alcohol) and that, for the remaining part, consists of liquid plasticizers and process additives, characterised in that said poly(vinyl- alcohol) has a molecular weight ranging between 12000 and 200000 Da and preferably between 15000 and 140000 Da and degree of hydrolysis between 70 and 99%, preferably between 75 and 90% and more preferably between 80 and 88%. The invention also relates to a method for conveying and controlled release of a chemical product in an environment where water is present, comprising the following steps: - insertion of said product into an open container of the type defined above; - closing said container; - insertion of said container in said environment.</p> |
