<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can achieve power saving through a reduction of power consumption by reducing users' power consumption in a peak time zone of power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 communicates with a server computer 200 to obtain the information on a power supply situation. The image forming apparatus 100 determines ( Step S2020 ), based on the information obtained, whether now is a peak hour zone of power consumption.
