<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device having a road learning function, realizing an appropriate route guide method at a rotary intersection including a learned road. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device, if a rotary intersection exists on a guidance route (S100:YES), determines whether or not a leaned road acquired by a road learning function exists as a connection lane of the rotary intersection (S102), and if the learned road does not exist as the connection lane of the rotary intersection (S102:NO), executes an exit number guidance for guiding an exit lane of the rotary intersection by using an exit number set at an existing road (S104), and, if the learned road exists as the connection lane of the rotary intersection (S102:YES), converts a configuration including an annular portion and the connection lane of the rotary intersection into an intersection of a vertical road corresponding to the annular portion and a horizontal road corresponding to the connection lane (S106), and then executes an intersection guide for guiding a position of the intersection corresponding to an exit from the rotary intersection and the distance thereto as well as a course direction at the intersection (S108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
