<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster device having an operation lever for locking/unlocking a wheel, while allowing a user to easily recognize the position of the operation lever. <P>SOLUTION: The caster device includes: a caster body 10 that turnably supports a turning support 11 having a wheel around a vertical axial line and is fixed to a lower part of a fixture; a lock member 14 provided in the turning support 11 and engaging with a part of the wheel to stop the wheel; and an operation lever 15 for operating the lock member. When a pressing protrusion 18 protruding on the caster body through the vertical axial line of the turning support from the lock member is pressed or opened by the operation lever 15 that slides on the top surface of the caster body, the lock member is swung to lock/unlock the wheel. Signs 19a, 19b for identifying whether the operation lever is locked or unlocked are provided in an operation part 41 of the operation lever 15.
