<p>This device (D) comprises, on the one hand, calculation means (MC) designed, in the event of receiving a duration Ds for which the battery (BA) will no longer be used and an outside temperature Te around this battery (BA), so as to determine rates of auto-discharge of the battery (BA) for various initial states of charge as a function of factors of auto-discharge acceleration and of outside temperature Te, and final states of charge on expiry of Ds starting from the various initial states of charge and as a function of ageing acceleration factors and auto-discharge rates, and, on the other hand, selection means (MS) designed to determine an initial optimal state of charge to which corresponds the final state of charge which is close to, from above, a chosen threshold, so that it is applied to the battery (BA) so that the latter exhibits this final state of charge on expiry of Ds.</p> |
