The ejection device (1) has slotted guide track (3) that includes closing section into which a control pin (4) is moved as the movable furniture (2) is closed, locking section having latching depression in which control pin is held in locking position, and opening section into which control pin is moved as the movable furniture is opened. An overload mechanism is arranged in locking section and is released as movable furniture is opened. The overload mechanism has blocking element which temporarily blocks overload path for control pin, and that is movable in channel. An independent claim is included for movable furniture.
