<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing roller for tire molding and a method for pressing rubber material for the tire molding, capable of reducing a burden on an operator by eliminating re-pressing work performed by a manual roller, not causing a residual air in a joint portion and separation of a joint, and preventing the rubber material from wrinkling. <P>SOLUTION: This pressing roller for the tire molding is configured to press and press-fix the joint portion formed by overlapping both the ends of the rubber material wound around a former with each other. In the pressing roller for the tire molding, the diameter of a center portion in a roller axial direction is formed into an inverted crown shape having a diameter smaller than those of both the ends. The method for pressing the rubber material for the tire molding press-fixes the joint portion in such a manner that by using the pressing roller for the tire molding, the joint portion formed by overlapping both the ends of the rubber material wound around the former with each other is pressed by pressing force of 390-590N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
