<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily test a tire with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a tire testing method of calculating input energy input to a tire T when the tread part T1 collides against a front end part 14 in an actual vehicle test on the basis of a physical model modeled on the actual vehicle test, and setting position energy of a pendulum part on the basis of the input energy when the tire T in a collision state of collision against a front end part 14, positioned on a front side in a travel direction A of a vehicle, of a connection edge part 13 where the tread part T1 of the tire T mounted on the vehicle passing on a pot hole 12 is connected to a road surface 11 at the pot hole 12 is reproduced using a tire testing device including a tire support part supporting the tire T, and the pendulum part which is supported to be swung up and down around a rotary shaft and has a tip part caused to collide against the tread part T1 of the tire T supported by the tire support part when swung down from a state of swinging-up around the rotary shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
