The self-adjusting clutch has a disk spring (11) which is arranged between an adjusting ring and a sensor spring, where the adjusting ring has a contact area, with which the adjusting ring stands in contact with the disk spring. The adjusting ring has another contact area, with which the adjusting ring is brought in contact with the disk spring during overrun of a release path. The adjusting ring has additional third contact area, with which the adjusting ring is brought in contact with the disk spring during overrun of another release path. An independent claim is included for an adjusting ring with an extension.
