<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes saving power adjusting parts 241, 242, 25 for restricting the power consumption in the apparatus after a power-saving transit period passes since processing for a print job is completed.
