A method and apparatus of selecting at least one access point (AP) enable a user terminal to wirelessly communicate efficiently. The method includes sensing a plurality of APs connectible to the user terminal, measuring a network access speed indicating a speed of transmitting and receiving data between the user terminal and an external device over a network with respect to each of the plurality of APs, and selecting the at least one AP based on the measured network access speed. |
