<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more simply manufacturing a polysaccharide nanofiber dispersion at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a polysaccharide nanofiber dispersion, comprising the steps of: swelling and/or partially dissolving polysaccharide included in a polysaccharide-containing material by using a solution including tetraalkylammonium acetate represented by the formula and an aprotonic polar solvent; and fibrillating the swelled and/or partially dissolved polysaccharide is used.
