<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type transfer material conveyance device and an image forming apparatus using the same capable of suppressing generation of abnormal images such as dirt or disorder of images. <P>SOLUTION: A conveyance unit 10 includes a conveyance belt 11 which is arranged facing a photoreceptor 1, and stretched by multiple stretch members including driving means such as rollers 13, 14, 15, and which travels while carrying a transfer material P on a surface. The conveyance unit 10 conveys the transfer material to a transfer nip part between the photoreceptor 1 and the conveyance belt 11, and conveys the transfer material P to which a toner image has been transferred at the transfer nip part, toward a fixing device 23. A travel face, just after passing through the transfer nip, of the conveyance belt 11 is bent, so as to be temporarily separated from the transfer material P just after passing through the transfer nip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
