The installation (1) has a domestic hot water balloon (5) including a control unit (12) that is programmed to control a heat pump such that it functions in a cooling mode at which the installation produces negative kilocalories that are stored in a storage tank (6) when an operating process is active in hot weather and during night. The control unit is programmed to operate the pump in a heating mode at which the installation produces calories that are stored in the storage tank when the operating mode is active in a cold season and during day time. An independent claim is also included for a method for implementing an installation for controlling temperature of a building and for producing sanitary hot water.
