This invention concerns an electronic alerting system and a method for the same. The method comprises receiving data from a client device (110), wherein a user of the client device (110) has a profile data stored in a server (120); and wherein the data comprises at least a location information of the client device (110); determining whether the data relates to an emergency; and if so routing an alarm to a group of contact persons, which are related to the profile data; determining location of each contact person having provided an accepting response to said alarm; creating information comprising at least the determined locations; and providing said information at least to the client device (110). |
