PURPOSE: A system for searching and registering a real time situation information provider based on geographic information and a method thereof are provided to quickly receive desired service content from a corresponding real time situation information provider by easily searching real time situation information providers in the world. CONSTITUTION: A service client(C) searches a service register(R) for a real time situation information provider(P) based on geographic information to request a service. The real time situation information provider generates service content based on real time situation information collected through a sensor network and transmits the same. The service register registers the real time situation information provider based on the geographic information according to a registration request of the real time situation information provider.
