PURPOSE: An information acquisition method for an AP(Access Point) is provided to acquire detailed information for the AP. CONSTITUTION: A connectable AP is searched(S410). A BSSID(Basic Service Set Identifier) of the connectable AP is obtained. Information for the AP corresponding to the BSSID is searched in a database(S420). When the information for the AP corresponding to the BSSID is not stored, the information corresponding to AP is received from an AP information server storing the information for the AP corresponding to the BSSID(S440).
