<p>The invention relates to a method for optimizing radio link transmission in a radio communication system (RCS). The method comprises the steps of transmitting predefined radio frequency signals (PS) successively from at least two antenna elements (BS1-AE1, BS1-AE2) of at least one antenna array (BS1-AS1 to a receiving unit (RU1, RU2), receiving at the receiving unit (RU1, RU2) first radio signals (MRS1-MS1, MRS1-MS2) and at least second radio signals (MRS2-MS1, MRS2-MS2) for the transmission via the at least two antenna elements (BS1-AE1, BS1-AE2), providing the received first and at least second radio signals (MRS1-MS1, MRS1-MS2, MRS2-MS1, MRS2-MS2) from the receiving unit (RU1, RU2) to an selection unit (SU1), selecting at the selection unit (SU1) at least one of at least two transmission configurations based on the received first and at least second radio signals (MRS1-MS1, MRS1-MS2, MRS2-MS1, MRS2-MS2) and the predefined radio frequency signals (PS), and providing from the selection unit (SU) the selected at least one transmission configuration to a transmission unit (TU1) of the at least one antenna array (BS1-AS1). The invention further relates to a transmission unit (TU1), a selection unit (SU), a network node (BS1) comprising the selection unit (SU), and an apparatus for analyzing radio link communication comprising the selection unit.</p> |
