A headband 100 comprising a main portion 101 and two end members 104,105 pivotally connected to the main portion, each end member being pivotable about at least one axis according to the shape of the head of a wearer from a first position to a second position. The main portion is curved and the end member and the main portion may be aligned in the first position, and in the second position the end member is perpendicular to the plane containing the curve of the main portion. The end members are pivotable so that they move along the head of a wearer away from the face. The headband is preferably formed of a resilient material such as metal or a hard plastics material. The main portion may be connected to the end portions via side members 102,103. The main portion or end members may include a comb to engage the hair of the wearer. |
