The squirrel-cage rotor has a squirrel-cage winding that is provided rotor rods (9) in grooves (16) in laminated core (14). Each end face of laminated core is provided with retaining elements (8) on the shaft (5) in an axial direction. Each retaining element is extended in a radial direction in form of a disk or a spoke. A wall (12) is overlapped on a radial periphery in the axial direction so as to terminate the cage ring (10) and predefined axial section of rotor rods in the cage ring without increasing an external diameter of the laminated core. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) asynchronous machine; and (2) method for manufacturing a squirrel-cage rotor of an asynchronous machine. |
