<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus (1) has a body (2) with locking units on a rail and a mobile tab (3) between locking and unlocking positions. The tab is subjected to action of an elastic element (4) arranged in a housing (5) of the body. The element (4) in the shape of a rod has a rectilinear shape in a rest position. The housing has an insertion opening to insert the element, where the housing is arranged along a same axis of the elastic element in the rest position and opens towards the exterior of the body on a lateral side (8) of the body perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (A) of the rail. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an electrical apparatus. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Electrical apparatus e.g. contactor, for being fixed on a support rail, and for being fixed on a cabinet by intermediate of a DIN rail. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The apparatus is easy to assemble and is inexpensive, while permitting easy dismounting of the support rail.
