PURPOSE: A system for monitoring accumulated calories and a method thereof are provided to supply total consumption calories, which are calculated per exercise equipment, during exercise time to a user. CONSTITUTION: A user exercise by using exercise equipment(110a,110b) with sensors. The exercise equipment calculates each exercise amount by using the change of movement width, weight, power, and acceleration for confirming an exercise result of the user. Total calories which are consumed by the user in the exercise equipment are provided to the user by calculating the total calories in a server(130).
