<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which properly corrects a geometric distortion even without information on focal distance. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system 1 includes: a vanishing point information estimation part 14 for generating vanishing point information indicating positions of vanishing points in horizontal and vertical directions in a picked-up document image; a corner detection part 15 for detecting a corner in the picked-up document image; a profile determination part 16 for setting two line segments gathering at the position of the vanishing point in horizontal direction as upper and lower sides, two line segments gathering at the position of the vanishing point in vertical direction as right and left sides, and determining a profile of a squire surrounding the detected corner as a profile square; an image size determination part 19 for determining a first image size after geometric correction on the basis the profile square; and a correction processing part 20 for performing geometric correction to the picked-up document image by a first correction method based on the profile square and the first image size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
