<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system for a communication and information processing equipment room or the like, contributing to energy saving by improving air conditioning efficiency of the electronic equipment room to reduce a thermal load of electronic equipment and eliminating consumption of wasteful electronic energy, and capable of providing a small and inexpensive electronic equipment room. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioning system is for air-conditioning an equipment room 11, installed with a plurality of rack rows L1-L4 are formed by arranging racks 13 mounted with communication and processing equipment 12 in a vertical direction, includes: a ceiling installation type multi-air conditioner 16 in which a plurality of high sensible heat type indoor units 16a are installed in a ceiling part 11c of the equipment room, for blowing out cold air toward a suction face of the rack, making the cold air circulate within the rack, flowing from an upstream side toward a downstream side, sucking in used air discharged from the downstream side after finishing cooling of the communication and information processing equipment, and carrying out a cooling process to produce cold air to be blown out again toward the suction face of the rack; and a controller 23 for controlling the drive of the air conditioner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
