摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision and sensitivity of measurement. <P>SOLUTION: In the state where a flow passage of a sensor chip is filled with a fluorescent indicator liquid, exciting light is made incident to an incidence plane of a prism of the sensor chip, and exciting light is made incident, at a resonant angle, to a reflection plane of the prism. A fluorescent indicator contained in the fluorescent indicator liquid filling the flow passage is excited by an evanescent wave. The quantity of reference fluorescent light emitted from the sensor chip is measured. In the state where the flow passage is filled with a buffer liquid, exciting light is made incident to the incidence plane and exciting light is made incident, at the resonant angle, to the reflection plane. A fluorescent indicator added to antigen captured by an antigen capture membrane of the sensor chip is excited by the evanescent wave. The quantity of fluorescent light emitted from the sensor chip is measured.
