<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which unnecessary acceleration is suppressed when a vehicle is controlled by an ACC function. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling control device 100 for controlling vehicle traveling by ACC includes a vehicle speed acquisition means for acquiring the traveling speed of an own vehicle, and a vehicle speed control means for accelerating the own vehicle to a set speed when the acquired traveling speed is lower than the set speed.
