<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the waste of a recording paper caused by printing failures, without impairing the convenience of a user, even when a non-genuine product is used as a replacement part. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes an image forming part 103 forming an image, a non-genuine product determination part 101a determining whether or not the toner cartridge 108a being the replacement part of the image forming part 103 is the non-genuine product, and a control part 101 controlling the image forming part 103 according to image forming conditions inputted from a copy condition input screen or a print condition input screen. When the non-genuine product determination part 101a determines that the toner cartridge 108a of the image forming part 103 is the non-genuine product, the control part 101 inhibits the input of the toner saving mode of the image forming conditions which can be inputted from the copy condition input screen or the print condition input screen, to perform normal image formation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
