<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percutaneous plug that corresponds to an implantable subcutaneous electric socket and achieves the connection and/or the control of an implanted medical device such as a bone distraction motor mounted on a patient. <P>SOLUTION: The implantable subcutaneous electric socket is accessed percutaneously by the plug to connect data and electrodes of a power source deployed from the plug into the socket to conduct control signals and electrical power from the power source to the implanted medical device within the patient.
