<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which has good solubility in a solvent and allows an optical film to exhibit high retardation and improve wavelength dispersibility. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a cellulose ester-containing optical film which contains 1 to 20 pts.wt. of a compound represented by the formula (1) on the basis of 100 pts.wt. of a cellulose ester. A, B and C represent an aromatic ring or an aromatic heterocyclic ring; L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>represent a divalent linking group selected from a single bond, an alkylene group, -COO-, -NR<SB POS="POST">2</SB>- (R<SB POS="POST">2</SB>represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent), -OCO-, -OCOO-, -O-, -S-, -NHCO- and -CONH-; X<SB POS="POST">1</SB>and X<SB POS="POST">2</SB>represent a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; and R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>represents a substituent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
