<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-making apparatus capable of reducing the size of the whole of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The box-making apparatus comprises : a rectangular form 15; a hand part 1 having a suction pad 16 capable of protruding from a tip end of the form, and advancing and retreating; a first robot 11 capable of moving the hand part in a three-dimensional space; and a female form 45 for erecting four side walls adjoining to a bottom part by pushing the bottom part of a blank carton 1 in. At least one of each pair in two pairs of guide plates constituting the form makes approaching and leaving movement to the other so that a width size between the guide plates is variable. When the width size is narrow, a pair of the plates functions as a male form to the female form, and when the width size is wide, the pair of the plates functions as a female form in a lid-closing step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
