<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash which can cope with high heat insulation while using a metal frame or a composite frame of a metal and a resin. <P>SOLUTION: A sash includes a frame 1 and sliding screens 2, 3 slidably provided in the frame 1. In the frame 1, resin rail auxiliary materials 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b are detachably mounted to a metal frame 1b or a composite frame 1a of a metal and a resin from the inner periphery side, and the depth dimensions of rails 16, 17, 33, 34 are increased by the resin rail auxiliary materials 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b.
