PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining deposition of a lithium dendrite, by which deposition of a lithium dendrite during constant current charging can be detected.

SOLUTION: In the method for determining deposition of a lithium dendrite, an amount of variation (dV/dt) per time t of a battery voltage V gradually increasing by constant current charging is detected, and it is determined that a lithium dendrite is deposited from the vicinity of a minimum value of the amount of variation (dV/dt) per time t of the battery voltage V.
