<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard which enables end construction to be applied in a good-looking manner to a lower end of a wall surface and which has an illumination function capable of illuminating a floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: A baseboard A includes a body part 1 attached along a wall surface W, and a cover part 2. The cover part 2 is formed of a top surface 21 which is turnably supported on an upper end surface of the body part 1, and a suspended piece 22 which is suspended while being connected to the top surface 21. An engagement part elongated on an inner surface of the suspended piece 21 is engaged with an engagement retainer part which is elongated in the body part 1.
