<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a display control method which allow appropriate recognition of an object of a two-dimensional video displayed on a three-dimensional video. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes format conversion means, video combination means, parallax image generation means, and display image generation means. The format conversion means converts a video frame in a first format including a plurality of images having a first resolution, to a video frame in a second format. The video combination means combines an object of a two-dimensional video with the video frame in the second format to generate a composite video frame. The parallax image generation means uses a plurality of regions corresponding to the plurality of images in the composite video frame to generate a plurality of parallax images having a second resolution higher than the first resolution.
