<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support device capable of quickly obtaining dynamic current consumption of a whole memory. <P>SOLUTION: A quantization part 38 applies quantization in time axis and amplitude directions to a first current waveform for each partial area and operation mode of a memory with a first configuration and to a second current waveform for each partial area and operation mode of a memory with a second configuration. An interpolation part 46 calculates a third current waveform for each partial area and operation mode of a memory with a third configuration, through interpolation between the first current waveform with the identical partial area and operation mode and the second current waveform with the identical partial area and operation mode. A dynamic current analysis part 45 simulates time changes in current consumption in the memory with the third configuration, with respect to each operation mode, by aggregating all the third current waveforms of partial areas obtained through the interpolation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
