<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device for preventing fall of various furniture and fixtures such as a book cabinet, furniture or a cabinet, which includes a height-adjustable box-like container to be inserted between the upper surface of furniture and fixtures and a ceiling and which is easy to assemble and handle. <P>SOLUTION: The fall prevention device 10 includes substantially: a body unit 12 having one surface 14 to be placed on the furniture upper surface; a cover unit 22 having an opening surface 24 opened to one side and the other surface 26 facing the ceiling surface, the cover unit being disposed to cover the body unit 12; and a positioning unit 27 for separating the one surface 14 of the body unit 12 from the other surface 26 of the cover unit 22 by a predetermined distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
