A method of manufacturing thrust bearing rings from annular blanks by rolling. It is carried out by cold face rolling an annular blank in a pass formed by a collar, a die with an annular projection for a track for rolling bodies, a mandrel and a roller, whose axis is placed at an angle α = 7°-20° to the axis of rotation of the blank. At the same time the die, the collar and the mandrel have a rotation drive, and the roller – a drive with free rotation around its tilted axis and rotation about the axis of blank forming a bearing ring by displacing the material into a mould formed by the pass. |
