PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in electric insulating property, heat resistance and flame retardancy of a cured product thereof.

SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a benzoxazine compound having a phenolphthalein structure in the molecule and a phenol resin including a phosphorus atom in the molecule. In the resin composition, the total content of the benzoxazine compound and the phenol resin is preferably 70 to 100 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of a thermosetting compound including the benzoxazine compound and the phenol resin.
