<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a nuclear power plant vent, capable of removing not only radioactive iodine but also water-soluble radioactive substances such as radioactive cesium and plutonium by being connected to a vent pipe provided to discharge a gas inside a nuclear reactor containment containing radioactive substances to the outside and reducing a pressure when the pressure inside the nuclear reactor containment of a nuclear power plant rises steeply. <P>SOLUTION: The filter for the vent includes: a filter container body for housing a radioactive substance adsorbent (preferably the radioactive substance adsorbent composed of Ryukyu limestone grains) and water in the inside; a blow pipe for discharging the gas containing the radioactive substances, which is discharged from the vent pipe, in the water housed inside the filter container body as fine bubbles; and a lid body for covering an upper surface of the filter container body and guiding the gas from which the radioactive substances are removed to an exhaust pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
