<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a player from feeling a sense of incongruity by reducing the time lag between an image and sound, in a performance of a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: A sound controller of this game machine has a plurality of channels (8 channels), and generates diverse sound (acoustics) such as voice, BGM, or effective sound. On the assumption that data transmission per channel needs 8 ms, the game machine starts data transmission 32 ms earlier than screen display start timing tα. Just then, when 32 ms has lapsed from tα, the data transmission and the reproduction of the sound of all the channels can be completed. When the time lag between the image and the sound is within 32 ms, a person cannot recognize the time lag of this degree, so that the player does not feel the sense of incongruity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
