<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a piece of paper from remaining in a printing apparatus due to a jam trouble recovery operation in the sheet conveyance apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveyance apparatus comprising: a first unit 8 including a first sheet conveyance mechanism conveying a sheet; a second unit 2 provided to be adjacent to the first unit 8 and including a second sheet conveyance mechanism conveying the sheet; a cutting unit 24 interposed between the first unit 8 and the second unit, for cutting the sheet; and a controlling unit 13 that controls, in a case of trouble in sheet conveyance, driving of the first sheet conveyance mechanism until an end of the sheet reaches a side of the first unit 8 beyond a cutting position of the cutting unit 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
