<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washer with weight reduction and improved strength of housing. <P>SOLUTION: A drum-type washer comprises: an upper reinforcing plate 10 connecting left and right side plates 1a,1b; a back face upper reinforcing plate 20 connecting the upper portion of back face of the side plates 1a,1b; and an upper portion connecting reinforcement part 30 connecting the upper reinforcing plate 10 and the back face upper reinforcing plate 20. The upper portion connecting reinforcement part 30 elastically supports an outer tank and has a hose containing channel part containing water supply hoses H1 to H3.
