<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine which features that a region for binding an adapter and a mold platen together which is used when a mold is fitted to the mold platen, is smaller in area than the area where the mold is fitted to the adapter, and since piping for a temperature control medium is arranged at least in the region for joining the adapter and the mold platen together is arranged, the internal temperature of the region which is a spot where the heat of the mold is transmitted to the mold platen can be controlled, and in turn, the temperature of the mold can be uniformly distributed. <P>SOLUTION: This injection molding machine includes an adapter plate 30 (30a and 30b) for assembling the mold (31a and 31b) to the mold platen (stationary platen 11 and movable platen 12). The adapter plate 30 has the side for fitting to the mold platen and the side for fitting to the mold. In addition, the side for fitting to the mold platen includes a binding part 32 (32a and 32b) accounting for a smaller area than the side for fitting to the mold (31a and 31b).
