PURPOSE: An air hammer tool and a method for controlling hitting power thereof are provided to easily control hitting power and to easily maintain and repair. CONSTITUTION: An air hammer tool(1A) comprises a cover member(2) and a leading end unit(20). The cover member includes an inner space unit(2a), a cover member, a slide transfer member(8), and an elastic member(9). When gas is pressed in the cover member through a pressing unit, the slide transfer member elastically deforms the elastic member inside the cover member by pressure of the gas. The hammer reciprocates to back and forth inside a cylinder unit by the gas introduced through a gas introduction unit and obtains hitting power by repetitively colliding to the rear end of the leading end unit. |
