Disclosed is a composition for oral administration or external use, which exhibits excellent effects, using polyphenol originating in strawberry. A composition for oral administration or external use containing a fraction which is obtained by subjecting a hot water extract of strawberry to adsorption chromatography using an aromatic synthetic adsorbent, removing fractions passing through the column and fractions eluted with water, and then eluting with a 5-60% aqueous ethanol solution.
